These terms govern your use of the Ember Coast website and our travel design and concierge services. Please read them carefully. By using our site or requesting a trip, you agree to the terms below.
Ember Coast is an independent travel planning service with two offers: a flat-fee self-service trip plan with direct booking links, and a separately scoped private concierge service for human-led planning and booking coordination.
We are not a hotel, restaurant, airline, or tour operator. The stays, transportation, dining, and experiences we recommend are owned and operated by independent third parties.
When you submit a request, we use the preferences you share to prepare a proposed itinerary and a cost estimate. Proposals and estimates are not offers or contracts, and they do not reserve anything.
Pricing depends on live supplier availability, dates, party size, and seasonality, and it can change until a booking is confirmed and paid. We will always confirm final pricing with you in writing before anything is booked.
With a self-service plan, you make every reservation directly with each supplier at its own price and on its own terms. With private concierge service, we may coordinate or make reservations you have approved, but travel charges remain payable to the supplier or its authorized booking provider unless a written proposal clearly says otherwise.
Ember Coast planning fees are separate from travel charges and do not include supplier deposits. Each reservation is subject to the supplier's own terms, deposits, and cancellation policies, and your booking agreement is with that supplier.
Changes and cancellations are governed by the policies of the suppliers in your itinerary, which vary and can be strict during peak seasons. We will explain the applicable policies before you book.
The $29 self-service plan includes the refund promise stated on the plan page. Private concierge planning fees cover custom design and coordination work; their payment schedule, revision allowance, cancellation terms, and any refundable amount will be stated in the written proposal you approve before work begins.
Because the stays, tables, and activities are operated by independent businesses, Ember Coast is not responsible for their acts, omissions, availability, safety practices, or the quality of their services. We select reputable, well-reviewed partners and advocate for you, but the supplier is responsible for delivering the experience.
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid identification and any documents required for your trip. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, and we are glad to suggest options.
Some experiences, such as helicopter tours, hikes, dives, and water activities, carry inherent risks and may have age, health, or fitness requirements. Please review each operator's requirements and travel within your abilities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ember Coast is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or services, or from the acts of third-party suppliers. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the planning fees you paid to us for the trip in question.
The Ember Coast name, logo, site design, written content, and curated collections are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission. Partner names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
